The only way to avoid a war between the US and China is through dialogue, cooperation and mutual respect. Both countries must recognize their differences, but also their common interests, such as the fight against climate change, terrorism, pandemics or poverty. Likewise, they must seek peaceful solutions to their territorial, commercial and political disputes, respecting international law and multilateral norms. Only in this way can a relationship be built based on trust, stability and peace.
